  • I developed the in-line quality measurements of scanning beta gauges in the process using Six Sigma tools (8D problem solving), with process capabilities analysis, and poke-yoke.
  • I participated in FMEA risk mitigation and developed control plans with special characteristics (SC and CC) built from customer-specific requirements, regulatory bodies, and internal risk assessments.
  • The continuous flow quality of cells was monitored through the charge and discharge processes, alternating current internal resistance (ACIR), direct current internal resistance (DCIR), open circuit voltage (OCV), and capacity checks.
  • I trained the operations and quality teams with the Statistical Process Control (SPC) system to monitor and control the process variations that led to an increase in quality efficiency and a decrease in the waste/scrap rate.
  • Developed and implemented comprehensive reaction plans in different processes, resulting in a 25% reduction in product defects and a 15% reduction in the scrap rate, which leads to customer satisfaction.
  • Contributed to the initiation and execution of Layer Process Audits (LPA), resulting in a 20% reduction in recurring defects, and improved process efficiency.
  • From the reported deficiencies, standard operating procedures (SOP), control plans, sampling plans, work instructions, and quality documentation were developed.
  • My responsibilities included in all stages of lithium-ion battery cell production, from slurry mixing to cell wrapping.
