Engineer Leading Internal and Client Communications, Data Analysis, and Technical Reporting

• Lead Client Engagement and Design Validation: Take charge of identifying and understanding client requirements, and develop detailed design validation plans and reports. Define rigorous test plans in collaboration with the client and cross-functional teams including product design, development, cell designers, and process engineers, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Oversee Internal and External Communication: Drive seamless communication across all levels, both internally within the team and externally with clients, ensuring timely updates on team progress, feedback on evolving client requirements, and adherence to standardized procedures.
• Create Data-Driven Engineering Reports: Develop comprehensive engineering reports or presentations that incorporate advanced data visualization and analysis. Guarantee the validity of test procedures and specifications, while closely evaluating the quality of cells and materials, identifying emerging trends, and deriving actionable insights.
• Support Design Optimization and Performance Excellence: Act as a key resource to the design and product development teams by identifying potential failure modes and proactively optimizing cell performance. Leverage rigorous testing and analysis to ensure the highest standards in product quality and efficiency.
• Develop Testing Protocols and Automation: Design and implement cutting-edge testing protocols and procedures for the Test/Operations teams. Create advanced data analysis scripts to process test data, leading the implementation of decisions that streamline and improve testing processes, drive optimization, and enhance standardization.
• Document and Standardize Processes: Prepare and maintain thorough documentation including test procedures, safety protocols, compliance matrices, and client feedback. Ensure that all documentation is aligned with industry standards and client specifications, serving as a comprehensive reference for all stakeholders.
• Drive Test Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of critical performance, lifecycle, and storage tests in alignment with client specifications. Ensure timely delivery of results, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations through detailed planning and precise execution.
• Ensure Reliability and Risk Mitigation: Actively participate in Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plan activities, identifying undetected failure modes in planned tests. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement robust Design Validation Plans (DVP) that assess and mitigate risks effectively.
