Forest fire detection

This study implements a machine learning pipeline to predict forest fire burned areas using meteorological and fire weather index data. A neural network (64-32-1 architecture) trained on a preprocessed UCI dataset achieved 75–85% R², with deployment via Flask and MLflow. The model excels in predicting small fires, aiding firefighting resource allocation

2. Customer segmentation using clustering techniques

Purpose: The goal of this project is to analyze customer data from a mall dataset by applying various clustering techniques to segment customers based on their characteristics, such as age, annual income, and spending score. The project aims to evaluate the performance of different clustering algorithms (e.g., K-Means, BIRCH, DBSCAN), and derive meaningful insights about customer behavior and preferences

IT Project Management

1. Degree project: "Hybrid broadband with Forsway: Strategies for connecting underserved regions through technology and business models.

The work combines strategic planning with hands-on technical analysis. This involves mapping current connectivity gaps, evaluating local infrastructure constraints, and designing deployment blueprints tailored to regional challenges. The solutions I am formulating are grounded in real-world feasibility, such as using DVB-T2 infrastructure or low-cost satellite dishes combined with terrestrial GSM/4G for uplink, offering a practical alternative to expensive VSAT setups. The overall aim is to demonstrate how these hybrid models can be commercialized sustainably, supporting both public and private sector objectives for digital inclusion and economic development.
