· Manages procurement from Local and international Vendors and ensures their supplies within stipulated/committed time & analysis of open purchase orders for material against open customer orders, defined safety stock, and sales forecast provided by business units

· Monitoring of timely processing of order placement to National and International vendors (located in China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, USA, Turkey, France, Australia, and the Philippines)

· Weekly review of open purchase orders and follow-up with vendors for matured purchase orders’ delivery commitment to close the loop and enable SAP to plan new requirements by putting the revised delivery date.

· ISSR (Internal supplier service ratio) and ESSR (External Supplier service ratio) review of suppliers on a monthly basis.

· Liaising with custom authorities through Custom House Agents (CHA) and Freight Forwarders (FF) for completion of documents for clearance of imported goods.

· Responsible for maintaining OTDS at least 96.5% for service sales and support to reduce BOV amount to a minimum level.

· Quarterly / Monthly review of Min norms and stocking strategy

· Maintaining air and sea transportation cost ratio for international transport by reducing imports through air mode at 21% during Covid-19 global lockdown

· Maintaining on-time delivery service ratio by reducing lead time in local transportation by optimizing DC footprints and biker service

· Conversion of air imports to sea imports by making fast mover materials as stock able products in warehouses (part of logistic cost control project) considering demand during the lead time (sea transport)

· Controlling Air transportation/distribution cost for domestic shipments by optimizing fast movers and high severity products in local distribution centers.

· Responsible for keeping healthy inventory up to 70%

· Material rebalancing of the specified portfolio in RDCs (Mumbai / Chennai) and FSLs

· Responsible for liquidation and rebalancing of inventory with other regions and countries

· Inventory control with help of defined parameters viz Minimum order qty, Maximum order qty, Safety stock, ABC class, Fast/medium / slow mover, product severity, new launch, phase out.

· Discuss and align with the Sales team as well as the concerned BU Demand Planner/Head-SCM on the Allocation of FG in situations where the demand exceeds supply. To communicate the allocations to the sales team once agreed upon.
