Research Experience

  • Published a paper on the title Emotion Recognition from Videos using Facial Expressions on the Springer - Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing Journal. Having used the facial contour point's detection procedure the project programmed a MATLAB code for SVM classification algorithm in mapping the exact emotion of the human face from the images which is trained based on the Machine Learning's pattern recognition methodology.
  • Android App for Arithmetic Encoding and Decoding project that I published in the International Conference on Communication and Signal Processing (ICCSP). Have used arithmetic encoding and decoding as the data compression method for lossless communication., Have created the digital imitation of the real-time data transmission and reception during communication process, by building a mobile application using Java.
  • Microcontroller based Heart Rate detector through Fingerprint Project: Using PIC microcontroller and embedded C programming, I designed an optical sensing mechanism that is placed at the fingertip to detect the fluctuation of blood followed by an embedded system set-up that amplifies the signals and measures the heart rate.

  • In 2016, I had led an awareness & welfare campaign on the motive to educate the importance of Health & Nutrition among the rural people.
  • In 2015, I headed of Student Committee with 30-member team in organizing the “ANOKHA” Tech-Fest event of Amrita University
