Driven professional with extensive experience in security and crisis management. with 10 + years of experience in the security profession I am currently group leader in the Securit central leading and coordinating the security personnel in the 2 hospitals in Stockholm.
My position is recognized for requiring strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. It also requires being comfortable in intense, stressful environments.
It is expected of me to ensure safety and support for individuals in vulnerable circumstances. .
As a Group Leader, I’m the go-to link between operations manager, operators, and my security personnel, making sure communication flows smoothly and nothing falls through the cracks. I translate directives and write clear routines and practical instructions that people can actually use.
On a daily basis, I’m hands-on with hospital security operations—responding to alarms, coordinating helicopter landings, managing permits. My responsibility are is over two of the largest hospitals in Stockholm, keeping things calm, organized, and safe in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
The work duties involved managing Scania Ferruform's alarms, which ranged from fire alarms and cases of illness to accidents, as well as performing permit assessments for hot work and fulfilling an administrative role. In addition to these tasks, regular alarm response and patrols were also included. The administrative role involved: access administration, approval and management of workers' security clearances, card management, permits, and work environment management.
One of my former managers contacted me and offered me a position on the team that was establishing a monitoring service in Scania's alarm central. The role of Fire Watch includes responsibility for the fire alarm control panel and acting as an Alarm Coordinator. As the person responsible, you adopt the role of the central point of contact and are expected to connect all other units (medical services, the fire department, police, and managers) during more critical incidents. Apart from these acute scenarios, we work as fire watches, patrolling the factory to identify potential fire hazards and issuing "hot work" permits, which involves ensuring that a location is sufficiently safe to perform tasks that pose a fire risk.
As a security guard at an addiction clinic, I have an important role in maintaining safety, order, and security for both staff and patients. This role is especially important in an environment where people are seeking help for addiction problems. Since many visitors suffer from substance abuse, a more delicate and sensitive approach is required, where problem-solving becomes a large part of the guard's daily work.
Here is the translation:
My duties within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service included roles in the alarm response team, as an isolation breaker, in the central control room, and as a visits guard.
The prison officer role involves contact with inmates throughout the workday. Since I had previous experience working in the custody suite, I was placed on a Class 1 unit, a high-security section with full restrictions. There, extra caution is required when interacting with inmates. The job also included training as an emergency response officer / alarm response team member; this meant being part of the response group carrying a shared facility-wide alarm, which the entire team must assist with when activated.
The role of an "isolation breaker" involved spending time with detainees under full restrictions (who are not permitted to meet others) in order to break their isolation. In the Central Control Room, my task was to manage all cameras, elevators, and doors for the specific areas of the remand prison that I was responsible for.
