I am Shivangi Sharma, a CI/CD and DevOps professional with 10 years of experience in automating deployments, optimizing pipelines, and managing smooth, reliable software releases. I have worked in both the automotive and telecom domains. Currently, I am a CI/CD Engineer at Volvo Group, where I manage pipelines, handle release activities, and improve delivery workflows for faster, consistent releases. Previously, I worked as a Release Handler, coordinating deployments and ensuring secure, successful deliveries. I have led agile teams, enhanced delivery processes, and supported a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. I am certified as a ServiceNow Developer and Scrum Master.
The project is mainly focused on Driver User Experience and Interface (DUXI). The team is responsible for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of the software for the instrument cluster, which is delivered by both the platform and application teams. In addition to CI/CD, the team also manages software release activities, ensuring that each release is stable, well-coordinated, and delivered on time for both VP and GFX.
Responsibilities:
In this project, I supported the Security Operations Center (SOC) by enabling real-time data monitoring and collecting log data from multiple sources. I indexed and managed the data in Splunk, providing advanced search, analysis, and correlation capabilities to help SOC analysts detect anomalies and potential security threats.
Responsibilities:
In this project, the main task of team is to analyze Jenkins' nightly build logs to identify which software versions are deployed to various system applications, each with its own fault codes list. When a project fails during the nightly build, I troubleshoot the fault codes specific to that project. After diagnosing the issues, I collaborated with the Product Owner or Project Manager to develop and implement patches to resolve the faults.
Responsibilities:
In this role, I managed build and release pipelines and performed Dry-Run tests to validate code before production. I resolved SQL Server connection issues during incremental deployments and coordinated effectively with cross-functional teams during Scrum events. I worked with Product Owners to refine requirements, prioritize user stories, and maintain a well-groomed backlog. Throughout the project, I applied end-to-end SDLC practices, delivered tailored solutions, and supported successful software and hardware installation and integration.
Responsibilities:
In this project, I was responsible for application development, successfully creating applications such as a Task Manager System and a Data Migration tool. I maintained regular communication with clients to understand their project requirements, with a particular focus on designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. I enhanced project platforms by utilizing Java and developed engaging user interfaces using frameworks like Angular and Bootstrap.
