Maybank is Malaysia’s most valuable bank being in existence for more than 50 years. My role as a Performance Test Engineer includes assuring quality for 30+ customer facing and internal applications.

My Roles in Maybank includes:

• Gathering and defining business and requirements for applications on premise and CRM Cloud.
• Running Sandbox Performance Test on Salesforce Cloud and Organizing the same with the support team for schedule
• The tools assigned includes Micro Focus Load Runner, HP ALM- Performance Centre, Dynatrace for monitoring and Grafana with Nagios and Prometheus for graphical analysis. Integrating the test environment to AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Analyzing the performance bottlenecks in all servers, network and code level.
• Authored and maintained well-organized, efficient and successful manual test cases for entire team.
• Evaluated functional, performance and design compliance of every product against design standards and customer needs.
• Preparing interim and final consolidated reports with all the required details, overview of the runs to give the customers a clear idea on the performance of their application.
• Conducting Risk assessment on the Non-functional requirements and certifying if the application is fit to go LIVE with respect to Performance and User Acceptance.

Cognizant Technology Solutions is a Conglomerate which provides a variety of IT services, my role being a Performance Analyst includes evaluating the application performance to the benchmarks as per the Industrial standard. As a member of the team which handles around 20 clients from various regions, my responsibilities include Tooling and Strategizing the test Plan for different sectors from Banking, Insurance to Pharmaceutical. Highlighting the critical projects handled during my tenure below.

Project#1: AXA Life, Japan (Tokyo Onshore)

Tools Used: Load Runner, Performance centre, SOAP UI

• Developing strategies for Micro services and API Testing.
• Web service requests and responses validated using SOAP UI.
• Executing Mobile Performance test runs with the Load Runner controller.
• Monitoring the servers during the test execution and analyzing the logs.
• Created infra related tickets using Service Now.

Project#2: Astra Zeneca PT (Offshore- Chennai)

Tools Used: Jmeter, Fiddler, Splunk

• Handling Project Proposals and Estimation documentation.
• Using Splunk analytics to ensure consistent application health.
• Mobile Performance Testing using Chrome- Developer console and Perfecto Automation Testing.

Project#3: Farmers Insurance US (Offshore- Chennai)

Tools Used: Neoload,Jmeter, SOAP UI

• Preparing frameworks for Guidewire, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics365 applications using Neoload.
• Developing the test scripts for Mobile Performance Testing using Neoload and JMeter.
• To perform Failover testing using JMeter.
• Providing test results summary and recommendations in the Performance Test Report.

Project#4: Internal Cognizant applications PT.

Tools Used: Microsoft VSTS, fiddler, SQL Management server

• Cloud Based Performance Testing using Azure infrastructure.
• The previous engagement outcomes were considered as the baseline.
• Benchmarking the Cloud based results with that of on premise results.
• Executing Load test, Stress test and Endurance test.
• Smoke test in production has been performed before the closure as per the request.
