Cancer therapeutic (RNA-interference) Post-Graduation thesis, 04/2003, 04/2004, Have designed a short hairpin RNA with a loop sequence by in-silico analysis, for erbB1 gene. When tested we achieved significant inhibition of erbB1 expression in HEp2 cells using shRNA targeted to the coding region of the erbB1 mRNA. This proves to be other available therapeutic modalities in the treatment of human cancer. This work has the potential to get patented
