Summary

Change doesn’t start with a mass of people, but rather with an individual who is motivated, persistent, consistent, and dedicated. I want to be a part of the solution, not a problem, which drives me to strive for persistence, consistency, and dedication. As a public health personnel my research knowledge and experience set me on a path bo be able to contribute to the change and also achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. I appreciate diversity, as I believe it is a powerful tool to achieve greater results. Leadership role is often underrated and yet it is fundamental for the organization to progress. I can say I have both demonstrated leadership by reaching rural communities in raising awareness of non-communicable diseases
