Rebecka Ihsan

I am a Swedish Board-certified Consultant in adult psychiatry. I earned my medical degree from the medical program at Odessa National Medical University in Odessa, Ukraine, in 1998. Following that, I completed a medical internship at the University Hospital of Umeå, Sweden.

I acquired a Swedish license to practice as a Medical Doctor (M.D) from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare in 2016.

In 2016, I commenced a residency program in general adult psychiatry at the University Hospital of Umeå, which included psychotherapy qualification.

On June 15, 2022, I achieved accreditation as a Board-certified Specialist in general psychiatry by the Socialstyrelsen - Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. Following this, I served as a Senior Consultant psychiatrist in the outpatient unit, specializing in patients with psychotic disorders, geriatric psychiatry, eating disorders, and affective disorders.

Since January 2023, I have held the position of Senior Consultant psychiatrist at the General Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic at Region Västernorrland, Sweden.

On November 14, 2023, I received a DHA Eligibility Letter with the registration title "Physician - Psychiatry."
