Currently serving as the Product Owner for Scania’s Central Integration Platforms, which have the API Management Platform and the Kafka Streaming Platform. These platforms play a critical role in enabling seamless connectivity and accelerating data availability across Scania through APIs and event streams.

Key responsibilities and initiatives include:

• Leading the transition from a self-managed Confluent Kafka platform to a cloud-based Confluent iPaaS solution, enhancing scalability and operational efficiency.
• Driving adoption of Kafka Streaming across Scania by actively contributing to the Enablement team.
• Leading the API Management Platform, promoting and enabling an API-first strategy across applications to encourage better integration and reusability.

Driving Data-Driven API Strategy at Scania

Contributed to Scania’s data-driven initiatives by delivering a robust and high-quality API Management (APIM) platform that supports scalable and secure integration across applications.

Key contributions include:

• Guiding application teams in defining and implementing effective API strategies aligned with Scania’s digital transformation goals.
• Enabling self-service capabilities on the APIM platform, empowering teams to manage their APIs independently and efficiently.
• Supporting layered API architecture, including System, Process, and Experience APIs, to promote modularity and reuse.
• Educating teams on modern API technologies such as REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and asynchronous APIs, fostering best practices and technical excellence.
• Driving platform adoption, playing a key role in establishing APIM as one of the most widely adopted integration platforms within Scania.
