  • My responsibilities included building SAP public sector client segment affairs and collaborating with industry giants such as Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, and Capgemini
  • A significant part of my role was not just recruiting, but also defining and establishing innovative new ways of working both internally and externally with our partners
  • I also provided expert support to the SAP public sector SWAT team in Northern Europe, including the other Nordic countries

SENIOR SOLUTION CONSULTANT (PRESALES)

  • After SAP acquired Signavio, I was offered a senior consultant role at SAP and had the opportunity to continue working with the Signavio suite
  • After a few weeks at SAP, I was asked to take on the challenge of building up the public sector business in Sweden and supporting the rest of the Nordic region.

SENIOR SOLUTION CONSULTANT LEAD NORDICS (PRESALES)

01.2020 - 12.2021
  • Signavio, a German company, set its sights on the Nordic region
  • I was responsible for building up and acting in the lead presale role and function for the Nordic region
  • I played a leading role in the technical sales efforts across the region
  • I led the sales process for the successful closure of an approximately 1MEuro ACV deal, among others
  • Importantly, we quickly established and grew the company into a sustainable and profitable business, a testament to our strategic decisions and market understanding
  • SAP subsequently acquired Signavio, where I held stock options.

CTO AND HEAD OF R&D

  • Responsible for the cloud service Barium Live (a Low-Code platform) being developed modernly and efficiently based on market trends, customer requirements, and the company's and owner's strategies and priorities
  • Responsible for all R&D and Product Management staff (a team of +20 employees), including partners involved
  • Responsible for all strategic product communication with customers, owners, and employees, as well as planning and execution of the service's product roadmap
  • Responsible for establishing a 'Customer Success' role, the overall relationship and strategic dialogue with Barium's +10 most essential enterprise customers, and the technical dialogue of complex sales.

SOLUTION ARCHITECT AND HEAD OF PRE-SALES

  • Responsible for establishing the presale's role with the focus on, together with the customer/prospects, getting together effective overall solutions delivering real customer value where Barium Live (a Low-Code platform) was a component, among others
  • I actively drove the technical customer dialogues and technical aspects of complex sales.

IT-ARCHITECT & TECHNICAL SOLUTION SELLING (PUBLIC SECTOR)

  • I worked as a technical manager for IBM's entire portfolio of solutions, products, and services for large customers in the Swedish public sector, primarily government agencies
  • I successfully led the sales effort towards some of the largest government agencies of IBM solutions, which became the 'standard' for additional agencies
  • I led teams with different roles and competencies to deliver customers the most excellent possible value based on their investments in IBM's solutions.
