  • Leading projects in Central Europe (Germany domestic/international + Belgium/Italy/Netherlands), both assigned and self-proposed, focused on generating cost savings and reducing workload (FTE).
  • Project creation and monitoring, stakeholder communication, task/responsibility coordination across teams, development of analytics tools (Power BI), investigation on current issues and solution design & implementation.
  • Information mediation between different streams (Inventory Deployment, Transport, Procurement, Distribution Planning, Data Analytics and others), in constant research and effort to improve existing processes.
  • Project management techniques for lean working: Daily/Weekly Scrums, Project Trackers, weekly calls with stakeholders, Project Management tools (Miro, Microsoft To-Do, OneNote)
  • Achievements:

Forecasting Tool Germany (Power BI): increased the trucking needs forecast accuracy by 15% with extra visibility on origin-destination needs. The tool enabled suppliers to better manage their truck fleet, reducing our likeability of facing capacity rejections

Roundtrip Optimization for EU Inventory: identified opportunities to transform one-way into round-trips, renegotiated with suppliers, and reshaped part of the planning. Savings of 35.000 EUR on the September- December 2022 period.

Smart Tendering: part of the user testing, documentation control, user training and implementation of a tool that enabled last-minute search for truck providers. Savings worth 15.000 EUR on the first month for the International Transport Business Unit.

Roles & Responsibilities between Procurement/Transport Team: led meetings, proposed solutions, got sign-off from both sides, produced binding documentation, enforced it.

Analyst Workstation (Power BI): supported all stages, from requirement engineering to documentation production and team training. 15 active users within my Business Unit in the first month.

Spot-Buy Dashboard (Power BI): led the cross-team end-to-end development of this tool, which brought visibility on capacity issues and extra logistics costs for Zone Europe. It enabled the business and Procurement to pinpoint key lanes for capacity re-negotiation and supplier sourcing

Ocean Transport Planner (North America Zone)

  • Ocean planning file maintenance/updating, organizing ocean freight transport in cooperation with several teams in Prague (Order Management, Documentation, Customer Experience) and in US (Ocean Carriers, Inland Freight Planning).
  • Requesting & managing vessel booking changes with several world player shipping lines (Maersk, ONE, CMA-CGM, JF Hillebrand, others), focusing on optimizing inventory space, reducing operational costs and ensuring product freshness at destination.
  • Owner of North America Zone's end of the Core Carrier Program: a Shipping Lines to track their performance, maintain high standards of business service quality and log/request/track improvements.
  • Creator & supervisor of the KSP (Knowledge Sharing Program), a project that aims at increasing inter-team knowledge and cooperation, to ensure smoothness in operation and reduce bottlenecks in the end-to-end process.
  • UAT testing, implementation and training on a new tool (BuyCo) for vessel capacity booking. Logged in errors, spoke to developers in meetings and had them fixed; trained planners across business units (Europe, North America and
  • Intense negotiation of vessel capacity with multiple different suppliers to ensure production turnover and reduced lead time for customer deliveries. Results were achieved via parallel leads management (booking/cancelling), capacity distribution among suppliers, and negotiations with Procurement to increase capacity on key lanes.
  • Supply Chain Management during COVID period: under stress and pressure, organized daily calls and capacity monitoring for vessel/containers with Suppliers and Procurement. The team managed to ensure vessel loading and timely delivery to suppliers.
  • Standardization Project: together with 2 other colleagues (one of each Business Zone), we mapped out the vessel capacity planning process, highlighted 10best practices, and implemented them in daily operations across the business units. Required interviewing managers & planners from different teams, brainstorming, getting their sign-off for implementation and training the users.

  • Receiving, validating and processing Intercompany EUR & Africa's client orders. Required cross-checking different data sources and ERP systems, as well as attention to detail and validation with business stakeholders (Production Planning, Inventory Deployment, Transportation and Warehouse Managers).
  • Daily support to other teams in the Export flow (Transport Planning, Inventory Deployment, Documentation, Master Data and MEX Operations), as well as with Customers (via SalesForce ticketing tool) in order to guarantee smooth process operation compliance.
  • Daily maneuvering of SAP NetWeaver for updating information in client order flow (container quantities, number of pallets, others), as well as requirements from other business units (Customer Experience, Transport, Inventory and Procurement/Master Data teams)
  • Led cross-team workshops to identify key areas of cooperation and improvements to be addressed. One example was the standardization of e-mail headliners for daily requests, thereby simplifying backlog tracking and email management.
  • Part of the first team ever to achieve 1 million hectoliters of beer loaded in one month on the Mexico Export Zone.
