  • The current Swedish organization consists of 8 employees and 2 contractors.
  • We successfully transferred the legacy Full-Service clients from Nasdaq’s NFM system to Allfunds Platform during 2020-2021.
  • Our client base in the Nordics have also grown significantly the last 5 years and we have more than tripled our AuM that now uses us as their primary trading partner for mutual funds (from appr 12 billion EUR to appr 48 Billion EUR).
  • Main focus is to bring in new clients, service the existing clients and add value through our broad add-on services (Mainly Allfunds Navigator, ManCo services and Tech Solutions).

  • Company Overview: CEO of Nasdaq Broker Services AB, an Investment Firm regulated by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
  • The company had three main business areas: Core Back Office services, Regulatory Reporting and the Nordic Fund Market (mutual fund platform for fund distribution).
  • The organization consisted of approximately 27 employees and 20 contractors.
  • I headed the management team and reported to the Board of Directors with overall responsibility for Strategy, Operations, Business Development, Legal & Compliance, Sales & Marketing, Risk, Finance and HR.
  • Responsible for ensuring client retention & new sales and making sure Nasdaq Broker Services and its clients were compliant with MiFID II (3rd Jan 2018).
  • Main focus during 2018 was to drive the organization towards bringing in new clients to our core services and mutual fund platform as well as being compliant with CSDR and GDPR.
  • We also focused on adopting part of our Fund Platform to Block chain technology.
  • In 2019 we sold the Fund Platform business to Allfunds and made a carve-out of the Back Office Services and Regulatory Reporting business to other Nasdaq entities.

  • Company Overview: Part of Nordic Equities Management Team and heavily involved in all aspects of the development of the Nasdaq Nordic market structure.
  • Managed a team of 7 Key Account Managers based in Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen & Helsinki.
  • Responsible for Cash Equity Market Share staying between 62-65 % (despite fierce competition since MiFID was introduced in 2007).

  • Responsible for Nasdaq’s Buy side initiative and have a strong relationship with the Buy Side community in the Nordics.

  • Responsible for pushing out our Smart Order Router service with appr 15 using the service.
  • Responsible for pushing out our Algo suit service with 10 clients signed up and using the service.
  • Negotiated and networked with peer Exchanges, Competitors, 3rd party suppliers and Industry Associations.
  • Worked closely with Nasdaq Market Tech organization as an exchange expert and directly involved in pitching Tech Solutions and bid management towards other exchanges & clearinghouses and Banks & Brokers (Nasdaq Market Tech sells Exchange Technology worldwide).

  • Specializing in building up the ETF market in Sweden (OMX started and owned XACT Fonder and sold it to SHB in 2004).
  • Worked extensively with product development for our ETF’s both as Project Manager and as a specialist (I was an outsourced resource to the ETF Fund Company that OMX owned and operated at the time).
  • Analyzing potential new products (going from a single OMX S30 ETF to also launching an SBX ETF), engage with Market Makers and overall project management work.
  • Worked on various OMX Corporate deals (OMX bought Helsinki Stock Exchange, Copenhagen Stock Exchange, Iceland Stock Exchange and the Baltic Exchanges).
  • Also worked with the NOREX alliance bring the Nordic Markets closer together both via a shared system (SAXESS) and a common rule book (NMR).
