Commercially managed multiple projects concurrently as Project Surveyor including a £72m shell & core & cat B fit out of commercial offices and laboratories, taking the project from second stage through to construction, as well as managing the upgrade of the fire alarms and main heating pipework upgrade for HMP Whitemoor & Littlehey. Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Responsible for the overall commercial management of the projects – including all required reporting, forecasting and turnover profiling; presenting month-end and quarterly forecast reviews with the senior leadership team; R&O management; upstream and downstream contract administration; cost control and cost monitoring; project performance management.
• Procurement of all packages – developing procurement strategies with the team, budget and value-for-money examinations, risk analysis, liaising with the supply chain, reviewing ITT’s and tender submissions, reviewing/negotiating contract terms and conditions, working with legal team on major contract qualifications and risk considerations, compiling final contract documents for execution, negotiation and agreement.
• Responsible for the upstream and downstream change management end to end process and the review and implementation of value engineering proposals.
• Management of any Dispute avoidance and resolution processes and procedures should they be applicable.
• Cultivated stakeholder and client relationships, fostering collaboration and communication to drive project success.

Responsible for the commercial management of a 3.4MW BT data center located in Woolwich, London as well as minor commercial interior fit out projects, working concurrently and with full profit and loss responsibility, including but not limited to;

Employed as a Quantity Surveyor with this tier 1 Contractor (business turnover of £1.25 billion) to work on the shell & core and Cat B fit out of 521,000 sq of office and retail space for the 100 Liverpool Street project with a project value of £250m, including but not limited to;

• Procurement and supply chain management of demolition, concrete, drylining, roofing and lightning protection packages.
• Evaluated bids from contractors and subcontractors to ensure value for money.
• Undertook regular site visits to assess progress against project milestones.
• Assessed tender documents for accuracy whilst identifying potential issues or discrepancies.
• Assessed applications, valuations and cost reconciliations and drafted reports with findings.
• Complied to all main contract and subcontract processes.
• Maintained budget adherence with strict commercial and contract management.
