Develop an operational plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization. Ensure that the operation of the organization meets the expectations of its targeted beneficiaries, Board and donors. Providing technical backstopping as head of programs for the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization Oversee preparation of the annual plans, work-plans ensuring that all strategic dimensions are well set out in plans. Quarterly reviewing the actual progress compared to the work-plans and action plans, critically review Variance analysis of overall programs Actual progress for realignment of work plans and take necessary corrective measures. Approve all expenditures as per the authority Matrix approved by the Board. Ensure that all transactions related to program and others are dully entered in the computerized accounting software, giving a true and fair view of the state of the affair of program/project. Administer the funds of the organization according to the approved budget and monitor the monthly cash flow of the organization. Provide the Board with comprehensive, regular reports on the revenues and expenditure of the organization. Project designing and Proposal writing. Facilitation of Pre award assessment procedures by donors. Donor coordination and grants management. Managing partnerships related to program initiatives. Ensure availability of Finance manual and procedures, their understanding by employees, Executive Agencies and consultants and their successful implementation.
