  • The group's responsibility is the system's architecture including safety and cyber security, system ownership as well as vehicle function ownership for in-house developed battery and battery climate control systems.
  • This work has given me the opportunity to further grow and develop my competences in software development of electrification systems as well as in leadership due to the challenges with ISO26262 and extending the value creation flow into a global context.

  • The group’s responsibility is the system and software architecture including safety and cyber security as well as configuration management, continuous integration and system ownership (up to 2022) of both in-house developed and purchased transmission systems and sub-systems.
  • The work has given me a good insight to software development and a great experience to lead in a changing environment due to both new industry standards and legislations to comply with, and also organizational changes as driving the transformation to a value creation flow.

  • The group’s responsibility is to develop and maintain the assortment of harness components such as cables, connectors, busbars for both VCA and VCB, as well as CCS/MCS connectors.
  • The components are used by all harness design groups and must fulfill the different environment requirements depending on location on the vehicle for e.g cab, chassis and powertrain, for both truck and bus.
  • The group consisted of both develop engineers and test engineers.

  • First half, I got the responsibility for test fleet coordination in NTG Umbrella (the New Truck Generation), as well as coordination of secrecy and legislation needs in the project.
  • Second half, I held the same position when NBA Umbrella (New Bus Adaptation of NTG platform) was starting development phase. In addition to that, I led the ethanol engine project ED95.
  • The test fleet coordination responsibility gave me a good overview of all product development areas and their technical requirements, as well as a valuable cross-functional network all over the company.

  • Responsible for developing business ideas within the assortment, by identifying potential growth and sales activities to achieve business goals. The work included sales analysis, mapping competition, developing pricing strategies and marketing materials for Scania's workshops.
  • At the introduction of the DL engine platform in South America, I worked intensively to set up the spare part assortment for these markets.
  • This work has given me knowledge about the enormous potential there is in the spare parts business, and the possibility to visit several workshops and production units.

  • Responsible for deliveries to non-captive Scania distributors.
  • During the Arab spring, Scania started up new business with a national distributor in Iraq. My work was to set up a safe and cost-efficient transport solution for repetitive deliveries to Iraq, by investigating transport options, trade barriers, required export documentation, ensure fundings and insurance.
  • The work involved many external contacts with embassies, banks, the Chamber of Commerce, transport agencies, distributors and the RPC in Dubai.
  • This work has given me a great insight into the Scania business.

Process planner Cylinder heads, DMTA

  • Responsible for the production process; methods and tools for machining of cylinder heads, both in Södertälje but also for the sister production line in Scania Latin America.
  • The work involved everything as investments, planning and installation of new equipment for new, changed or improved products.
  • In this work, I have gained a great technical knowledge of production engineering as well as knowledge in Scania production system and the "Scania house".
