During the period 11 Jan 2010 to 10 Jan 2011, I had an internship work within the Regulatory/ Medical/ quality Assurance (QA) units at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Nordic a division of McNeil Sweden AB.
The Regulatory-Medical Department is responsible, among other things, for side effect reporting, to convey medical information externally, and for all contacts with the Swedish Medicines Agency regarding the registration of medicines.
My duties have been of an administrative nature. I was in charge of internal training for the local staff and other Scandinavian offices as well as. I was also in contact with few external functions.
I have conducted research, compiled facts and made recommendations regarding two product categories manufactured by companies in the USA. This work includes, among other things, looking at the competitive situation, comparing scientific evidence, identifying existing sales channels and customer groups.
I have also focused on identifying and compiling customer groups for a launch of a new diagnostic test on the Nordic market. This meant that he conducted country-by-country research in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark and then compiled everything in a report.
