My primary responsibility is to lead the project for developing a proprietary powder for nicotine pouches. The goal is to manufacture this powder in-house while avoiding any patent infringement issues. Additionally, I am tasked with establishing a product development department and a production line.
In collaboration with a patent agency, we have successfully created a unique powder, which we are set to launch under a new brand called Lynx in November 2023. Despite being a small and efficient organization at Another Snus Factory, I handle both the product development department and the production of the powder independently.
In the ongoing development of the brand Loop, currently sourced from another producer, I am actively engaged in the creation of new flavors and enhancing the quality of the existing powder.
Recognizing the demand for my expertise in oral products across various companies, I established my own consulting firm. Over the years, I've collaborated with a diverse range of companies, both in Sweden and internationally, spanning from large enterprises to smaller ventures. Some noteworthy collaborations include AG Snus in Denmark, Dholakia Tobacco in India, and Imperial in Sweden. While my consulting company is currently in a temporary dormant state, my focus has shifted to my role at Another Snus Factory.
My primary responsibility involved enhancing the established Oden´s brand while concurrently spearheading the development of two new brands, namely Siberia and Islay Whiskey Snus, within the traditional tobacco snus segment. Today, all three brands enjoy widespread recognition among consumers in various markets. This experience was particularly instructive, representing my inaugural venture into leading an entire project independently, distinct from my previous roles within larger organizations.
I held the responsibility for both internal and external tobacco training across our product areas, including cigars, pipe snus, and raw tobacco. Initially, my role was divided into 70% training and 30% product development, primarily focusing on cigars and pipe products during the initial years. However, with the introduction of snus in India and the USA, the emphasis of my service shifted more towards snus.
As part of my internal training at the snus factory, I seized the opportunity to engage in product development for snus. These years were truly remarkable, providing not only valuable education but also significant personal development. Despite the fantastic experiences, the demands of nearly 200 travel days per year became impractical for me as a husband and parent of small children, prompting the need for a more sustainable work-life balance.
