  • Ensure the continuing airworthiness of the fleet by executing all maintenance tasks as instructed by CAMO, in full compliance with current CAA regulations and SAS procedures.
  • Team Leadership, Lead and mentor a team of three, fostering a balanced workload and promoting continuous development through knowledge sharing and experience exchange among team members.
  • Maintenance Oversight and Quality Assurance, Analyze maintenance requirements issued by EASA, local authority and/or Type Certificate Holder (TCH).   • Cross-Functional Collaboration Support delegated tasks from the Team Leader and assist other functional teams, including Airworthiness Review Staff (ARS) with ARC issuance, Permit to Fly (PTF) applications, and Aircraft Transfer activities during phase-in and End of Lease (EoL). Align efforts with the Fleet’s strategic plan and the Maintenance Visit master plan.
  • Fleet Reliability and AMP Optimization Monitor fleet reliability to ensure timely corrective actions that minimize unscheduled downtime. Maintain top-tier dispatch reliability to meet targets for punctuality and regularity. Provide input for revising and optimizing the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) to ensure it remains precisely aligned with operational realities—neither excessive nor insufficient.
  • Cost efficiency through PMA implementation, by driving cost savings by validating and approving the use of non-critical FAA-approved PMA parts that are equivalent to OEM components. Ensure each part demonstrates clear benefits in terms of cost, technology, reliability, and availability.
  • Led and supported the introduction of new STCs, (e.g., Starlink), overseeing prototype installation, managing evolving development stages, and contributing to final certification approval.

  • Began career as a fresh graduate by assessing Airworthiness Directives to ensure regulatory compliance and maintain structural integrity.
  • Reviewed OEM technical documentation (AOT, SB, SIL, FTD, TFU, Maintenance Tips) for applicability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Issued Engineering Orders and Work Instructions to implement required actions.
  • Managed CAMO activities for EGYPTAIR’s Boeing fleet (777-200/300, 737 CL/NG), including MEL customization based on fleet configuration. Built strong relationships with OEMs to address out-of-SRM damages and chronic defect analysis.
  • In July 2014, served as CAMO Representative for Iraqi Airways, overseeing Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization responsibilities.
  • In December 2015, delegated to the Aircraft Accident Investigation Committee by the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority as an Airworthiness reviewer, inspecting structural repair records of affected aircraft.
  • Participated in major repair and modification working parties with Airbus and Boeing, including winglet installations on B737-800 for Yemenia Airways in collaboration with Aviation Partners Boeing (APB).
  • Represented EGYPTAIR in the BCF Project Steering Committee, supporting strategic decisions and technical oversight.
  • Delegated as Acting in 2017.and officially promoted in 2018 Structure Section Supervisor, to lead a team of four, supervising and reviewing engineering instructions across EGYPTAIR’s mixed fleet (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer)
