SOS Alarm sends out aid resources in the event of accidents or disasters, around the clock, everyday of the year. I answer calls to the emergency number 112 and I'm the first contact of the person seeking help before other resources are in place. The role involves collaboration with colleagues and external actors, which requires good collaboration skills and responsibility. I also work as a fire rescue responder, which means that I have continuous contact with officers at emergency centers around Sweden, alert and send out firefighters & maintain radio contact with forces alerted to an accident.
Sofieberg is a so called resource unit within Växjö municipality, which receives students who are in various ways in need of special support. There I worked as a student assistant for children with Autism & ADHD. Difficulties that students have vary, but a common denominator is writing, concentration and psychosocial difficulties and different types of disabilities.
During the summer of 2020 I worked with the football club FC Växjö in the Araby neighborhood. According to the police, Araby is considered to be a crime-ridden area and is classified as a "particularly vulnerable area". There I worked with youngsters from the neighborhood, inviting them to play football, dialogue & sanitation in the area.
Working as a student assistant mens helping, supporting and stimulating students, individually or in small groups. In close collaboration with class teachers, I supported students both in their knowledge development and in their social development. An important task is to work to create a safe environment. Cooperation with other staff are another important part and take place in teams with focus on the student. The after-school recreation centre has also been an important place, working for students learning but also social development.
I was hired out to Schenkers in Växjö I worked with parcel sorting at nights.
During my time at the Islamic school, I had the privilege of having several rewarding tasks. I started as a student assistant during my first years. Then I got to teach at both the primary and middle school as a substitute teacher. In my senior year I was entrusted to work as a teacher and mentor for the third grade. In addition, I was chosen to work with the schools "peace-team". The tasks of the team were to work preventively against all types of bullying, as well as resolving ongoing conflicts between students. Working at the school developed me in pedagogy.
During the summer of 2010 I worked as an attendant in forensic psychiatry, I worked from a holistic perspective and somatic healthcare, where humane treatment is the key word. I was involved in developing the nursing to meet the patient's needs.
This was done both individually and in groups.
